The district Cub Scout campfire and Pack out is scheduled for October 14th in Peterborough at Adams North Play ground.
Those attending just the fire should arrive at 630pm and the fire will commence at 700pm.
Those wishing to camp out and sleep over have 2 options:
Option 1: Should arrive at 1200 noon to set up camp and have already eaten their lunches.
1230-430pm will be scout activities and games including basketball, gaga, playground free play and more. Those attending this camp out it will have a great scouting experience and a chance to connect themselves to other local scouts not from their home towns and camp somewhere different. It erquires only siging up, and its totally free aside from food.
500pm will be dinner ,Hamburgers and hot dogs with sides. A head count/preregistration is needed for each pack attending by October 9th. Each pack will need to bring side dishes to share and their own planned breakfast for Sunday morning.
There are real toilets and showers on site in the bath house, and this area is BSA approved for cubs camping.
a Flag is on site as well for those wishing to use it for their pack.
Option 2- Arrive at 500pm and participate in dinner, bring a side dish to share. Set up camp. PArticipate in the campfire at 7:00 pm. Sleep over and bring your own planned breakfast for Sunday morning.
Option 3 Arrive at 630 PM and participate in the campfire program and return home at your leisure when the fire program has ended.
BALOO Training is taking place this day as well from 8:45am to 5:00 pm at the Peterborough Rec. Department as well.
